Come and listen!

Editor's comment October 2023.

Hello lovely readers! I hope to catch some of you reading this issue in person at the annual Pharmacy Show at the NEC in Birmingham. As ever we will be there so do come along and say hello!

I will be chairing the Future for Pharmacy Technician Practice panel on Monday 16 October from 12:15 so come and listen to how pharmacy technicians can and are changing the face of pharmacy and where the profession can go next.

This month our Public Eye feature explores the rising number of deaths linked to alcohol in Scotland and the many ways in which the pharmacy can signpost and support those looking to cut down, manage or completely limit their alcohol consumption.

We have a great focus on men's health with our Health Calendar exploring the ever popular Movember campaign - a fabulous way to get conversations started about men's health in the pharmacy, especially mental health. We then also have a whole feature on men's health issues, including sexual health, so be sure to take a look.

And now a bitter sweet announcement, our wonderful Staff Writer, Millie Browning, is moving on to pastures new. Many of you involved in the Recognition of Excellence Awards will have had the pleasure of chatting with her. She has been a wonderful part of the TM team for two years now and we are going to miss her very much!

And so a new era of TM dawns again, what's on the agenda? Keep reading to find out...
